Swingin' in the Park,
Douglas Park - (Douglas Crescent and 206th Street in Langley)
Our summer series of outdoor dancing, has begun and continues most Friday nights, 6pm until sundown throughout July and August.
Unique to Swingin' in the Park is the community aspect - most people come to simply enjoy the music and dancing and they look forward to it every Friday, arriving with blankets and chairs. We hear so many stories of people who come back each year - like John and Bubbles, a couple in their 90's who like to take a spin or two on the dance floor. Like so many others, they delight in listening to Jazz and watching people dance the night away. It's a great way to start your weekend.
